How's it going everyone. The name is Rudy, I am from Honolulu Hawaii and I have been reading through the forums for the past few months. I saw some awesome pictures and recipes for smoking meat on here.

I am totally new at this smoking hobby and will be doing my first smoked pork butt this weekend. I'll be running a Weber 22inch Original Kettle as I have watched some videos and read about how to smoke meat using this particular grill.

If I'm able to do it right I'll post any pics I get, if it turns out bad I'll make sure to learn from my mistakes so I can get it right the next time.

Thanks and I hope to learn more techniques and recipes from the more experienced smokers.

Poke around the Pork sub-forum and you'll find some great advice, tips/tricks and methods.
You can easily pull off a great Butt or Shoulder with some patience and care.
Ask any questions ya have, somebody will answer them.
 
​Welcome and we look forward to hearing/seeing your cook stories.  I user a Weber for many cooks and enjoy it.  I love a charcoal grilled steak!!!!
