New to the forum and relatively new to the site.  I have been smoking for about 6 years, currently using a Old Country Pecos.  Usually smoke with oak with some Hickory logs thrown in that I get in Georgia.  Love to smoke brisket, beef ribs, pork butts/shoulder, chicken and will usually throw on some sausage for folks to snack on while they are waiting...

Hello and welcome, I'm a newbie too, not as experienced as you, currently running on a Smokey Mountain but in the planning stages for a oil tank build.

Very cool, I will probably stay with commercial smokers until we move to Georgia, then I am going to build one...  We eventually want to get a chunk of land, but I may have to wait for the kids to move on a bit.  As far as the experience goes, I love to practice and my family and friends love it when I practice too lol.

Sounds like you've it going on, so I look forward to pics of your cooks.
Grab a cold beverage and settle in.
I'll post some soon, cleaning up my smoker, repainting a few areas, and getting it ready to go again.  It should be back in business in a couple of weekends.
