Good afternoon everyone.

I am brand new to smoking meat. My family really enjoys smoked meat and I was able to find a smoker at a great price, so we took the plunge and are going to give it a try. We have a Smoke Hollow Electric Smoker. I just finished seasoning the smoker as directed in the manual. I am going to attempt to smoke a boneless pork loin tomorrow using Hickory wood chips. I am very open to any suggestions and tips from more experienced users. Thank you very much for helping this newbie. Have a great day and everyone take care. Thanks Jeremy

Welcome to the board! Say Hello to Indiana Dunes State Park for me.

If you're just getting the hang of the smoker, try chicken as it's inexpensive. Pork loin is easy, too. Try salmon; it's expensive but nothing compared to the price of store-bought smoked salmon.

And as we say here, "Pics or it didn't happen."

Settle in and look around. Use the Search here to look up your smoker and see how people use them. I'm burning sticks, see my sig.
