I received my TP08 and TP03 in the mail today and will be testing them on the smoker this weekend with ribs, spatchcock chicken and beans. I have to say so far I am impressed as the meat probe, bbq probe and TP03 were all right on the nutz when testing them in ice water and boiling water. Yes the plastic seams a little cheaper than their competitors but let's be honest they are thermometers not hammers. My one complaint so far is the sad little wire stand for the transmitter on the TP08 as it makes the unit sit up too much to the point touching it will cause it to fall forward. I'll end up just taking that off more than likely. Looking forward to further testing this weekend. I will follow up after the weekend with my view on the two units after being out to use.
