Bought a slab of ribs at Shop n save to throw in the mes 30 . After I got home I saw the tag said " wild caught raised without antibiotics "  Never saw this before . I was wondering what that means ( free range ? )  I was surprised to see how marbled they are when I cut them in half .

I've never seen that label either, but here is what I found on the Internet.  The animal is trapped in the wild, then pastured on a farm until butchered.  The flavor is supposed to be more distinguishable than purely farm raised pork.

So many states are having wild pig problems, it looks like someone's figured out a way to turn it into a business!

How'd they taste?

Thanks for the reply . They were very good . My daughter commented right away ,,, " Ribs are good " Had a good pork flavor , texture like pork butt I guess due to the marbling .

CS, maybe they meant to put that sticker on a package of salmon ?
