New to forum and pellet smokers from PA!

Hello all!

   I've officially joined the dark side of the force, and I love it!  Recently got a GMG Daniel Boone and just bought a Bull Rack to do jerky on it.  I've done salmon, beer can chicken, turkey legs, pork tenderloin, and a pile of jerky with my Bull Rack so far. Also got an Amazen products tube and cold smoked some cheese for mac and cheese with bacon here shortly.  I had an LP smoker that was horrible to regulate temp or smoke, so this thing is incredibly easy for me compared to my old one.  Live in central PA.  Anybody else in my area able to direct me to some good pellets to try?  I can get Hamer grill pellets which I've tried when I got my grill, but it's nearly an hour away.  Hate to go to Walmart for anything if possible.  lol

  Look forward to learning lots of new recipes for my smoking pleasure!  Can't get enough of this stuff done on my Green Mountain Grill.  Feels kind of like cheating with the pellet smoker, but damn it sure tastes good!

Smokedup, welcome to the forum.  I grew up in Mifflinburg and still call that area home although I live in the Wilkes Barre cesspool now.  There are some amazing people on here who are more than happy to help with advice, and the greatest gift, recipes and experience.  It's amazing how much others are willing to give and share.

Yes, it seems there's lots of welcoming people here. I spent a LOT of my childhood around Mifflinburg area! Grew up playing pool at Wilcox lanes and camping at Hidden Valley. I deliver in the Wilkes-Barre area too. Lol
