Hello everyone,
My name is Jim Traywick and I live in Salem, Oregon. I was born in Tennessee and have been eating BBQ for most of my life. I retired about 3 years ago from the restaurant industry. My first general manager position was in Southern California at a place called RJ's Rib Joint. We had 2 vertical smokers and 1 horizontal one. We specialized in babyback ribs and chicken.
My wife and kids gave me a Traeger for Father's Day about 7 years ago and I can't think of anything that I haven't tried on it.
I'm looking forward to learning some great new techniques and sharing some of mine!
