Hey everybody, I began my cook this morning at 5. Im doing two 8 lb butts on my kamado cooker (Grilla Kong). My temp gauge on my cooker is showing right around 225 degrees. I just picked up a flame boss 100 and it's showing my pit temp at 390! [emoji]128563[/emoji] I'm 2.5 hours into this cook and wondering what's going on. I have my fb set for 225 but it has obviously been above while my cooker shows different. My meat temp on the fb shows 125 as does my instant read thermometer. Any ideas? I'm kind of stuck any help is greatly appreciated

The grate temp shown by the flame boss doesn't sound right to me. At 390 for 2.5 hrs your butt IT would be higher than 125. Do you have another therm to check grate temp. I see my reply is 4hrs after yours what did you end up doing

I ended up doing a few tests and found that the temp probe was still acting up upon a boil test and changing to another thermometer on my grate. So I contacted fb and awaiting a response. Took the fb out of the equation totally and used my other thermometer and kept my pit and meat temp right where I needed to be. Thanks for all the help guys! Truly appreciated.
