Hey guys I'm new to the world of smoking but have loved experimenting since getting my smoker. I was wonder the best way to incorporate beer into my brisket or even if it's a good idea.

I have previously brined rib fillets in beer and BBQ'd they taste amazing. However I was wondering if using the same brine or even injecting beer into my brisket would improve or take away from a smoked brisket. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

I would say brine not to inject, keep the beer a put it in a pan under the brisket for the cook.

Here is a post I did using the pan with a rack
