Hey everyone,
So I currently use a masterbuilt electric smoker and LOVE it for the simplicity, also have a chargriller with offset box, but that even with mods has just been a pain to smoke with.
Anyway, I have been looking at getting a propane of charcoal option, and though I have always wanted to do a UDS build, I don't personally have the time or tools needed to build one myself.
I recently just found d out about the big poppa kits and I am looking for advice or recommendations regarding this option.
I am aware of the Pit Barrel Cooker as an option too, but $300 is more than my wife will allow me to spend at the moment, and I also feel it has some weaknesses as compared to a home made UDS. The kit is well within my budget, and I have easy access to buy a food grade barrel.

Anyway, that was a long way to express my point, but wanted to give some background. Go ahead and give me your thoughts and suggestions, pretty please!
