I used to be a member on here, name then was Volsfan. I moved a couple of times and lost touch with the community but would like to reconnect and learn more from all the wise BBQers on here. A little about me:
Live in L.A. (Lower Alabama) with my wife. I cook out usually two or three times a week. I have the following equipment:
Memphis Elite Pellet Smoker
Kamado Joe - Big Joe
Will be adding a gas grill later this spring
Stoker temperature controller (love it!!)
CyberQ Temp controller (like it)
couple of Thermapens
lots of other accessories like everyone else
Love to smoke butts, ribs, chicken, rack of lamb, salmon, asparagas and just about anything else. Favorite is a 4 bone Prime Rib Roast. I reverse sear most of my steaks, start on the pellet grill, end on the Big Joe. All of this requires consumption of moderate amounts of beer, especially during the summer.
Well that ought to be enough to get us started. Looking forward to the discussions.
