...and you built that in a weekend?  Looks fantastic.  'spose looking at the shop, wow, tools and equipment can make quite a difference.  Know how too, of course.

Yes sir! Had a local welding shop that builds tanks roll a 8'x8' sheet of 3/16" steel last Friday. My buddy has the shop, they used to build manure equipment there. But they moved out off the farm. Most of the tools stayed! So... this isn't my first build either. It's all about doing your math and making a plan. I own and operate a drywall company also. So with that said, I don't do much welding. Lol! I do all the cutting and grinding/cussing! I try to stay a step ahead of my buddy. He likes to weld. Sometimes to much! Thanks for looking!!

Just happen to to notice you and your buddy are both staying hydrated,

that to is necessary to help keep down the welding smoke and shop dust during these builds!

Finished up the cooking racks, installed the exhaust, and got started on the trailer. Would have had wheels on it tonight. But got the wrong hubs for the axle.

Now tell me you two haven't talked about building a few of them RF rigs in the slow winter months for something to do and sell them for a nice profit after!

Actually, we did that last summer. We made 4 little guys. (36"x24") We made them thinking we had a couple of buyers. sold 1 and decided to keep the other three. We would be open to custom build for someone if they are interested. It's just kind of fun to do. :welder:

I have a few of those cool builds out there myself with my name on them! I have a fews pics of a large driveway arch I built posted in my profile if you would like to have a look later. Cool story behind that build also, maybe for a new thread post.

Looks like your going to have a nice size cooker when you finish. I have most of the metal to start one the same size.

I have some ?'s if I may ask.

What size is the opening where the CC & FB meat.

What size pipe for the exhaust?

And last how high off the bottom does the plate go for the RF?

Any help will be a great help.

I have done some reading on how to do that but it was Greek to me.

I am not a wielder, just a retired meat cutter that wants to cook some butts & ribs

for the Church and fund raisers.

Thanks,

Flipper
