Usually use Santa Maria or Montreal steak seasoning on my tri tip's, but this time I decided to use the "KISS" method. (Keep It Simple Stupid) and went with the traditional combo of Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper. Used my large charcoal grill and a couple chunks of hickory wood.
Visited my local "Lazy Acres" and got a gorgeous piece of trip tip. Also found out they actually carry Wagyu cuts of beef. Course they're like 50 bucks for small pieces of beef, but still cool that it's down the street from me lol
No Trimming Necessary, Beautiful Marbling
Salt & Pepper Added
Three Amigos
My $100 Barrel Grill, yay for Craigslist lol
Flipped To Sear The Top
Finished At 138 Degrees, I prefer Medium over Rare
So Much Juice, and Pink Throughout
I'm A Simple Man, Beef & Cornbread
