Just got the LG-700 for my 40th! Excited to get out there and try something new. I've been grilling on an old Webber gas grill ive had for 15 years and have enjoyed many a great meals from her. But it's time to move on and try something new. Look forward to the challenge and welcome any tips and tricks of the trade for newcomers!

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a nice sunny day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web.                                 Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

So I'm gonna do my first smoke on tbe pellet this weekend. My wife and oldest daughter like chicken while my youngest is a rib fan. Seeing as this was a gift from them, I want to share the wealth. I plan on doing a whole chicken and some baby back. Any suggestions on temp and times to try and have them done around the same time?
