So I had been craving a mushroom and swiss burger and the mushroom and swiss meatballs didn't cut it. Enter the Stuffed mushroom and swiss burger stuffed with mushroom, bacon and swiss then topped with swiss mushrooms and onion. I made some beans but with the size of the burger they were not needed. Burgers were smoked in a WSM not water pan top rack over cherry and pecan.:drool

Looks great.

We like mushroom and swiss burgers off the grill but I've not tried the stuffed technique.

Thanks Gezzer, they can be a little hard to bite.

Now that's a burger! Great combination of ingredients too!

My son told me once that the best burger is a smash burger... Gotta smash it down to eat it.

B, I was thinking the same thing as the others about eating that sucker. Nice looking burger!

Looks real good from here. I have to admit I was trying to picture exactly how you'd be able to open wide enough to get more than just a nibble.

Gary

Thanks Gary,it's a challenge! I had a guest not show last night so I have a spare for tonight possibly think I'll be skipping the bun this go around.

Thanks CM, we often pass on the buns with these beasts it's much easier to attack with a fork.Thumbs Up

Had to give you a point for this one!

Al

Thanks Al, think I'm pan the leftover one for dinner then finish under the broiler with the leftover stuffing.

Thanks Bear, I let the wife make the patties maybe next time we can try the 5&4 ounce you do I don't think she has ever weighed them.
LOL---Yeah, that was shortly after I got my "Stufz" thingy, and when I tried less than 4-5, I'd have blow-outs. Rookie thing!!
