I was at the store getting some bbq favors and figured I would pick up some beef to toss into the smoker.  Picked up a chuckie, rinsed and rubbed down with yellow mustard.  Then I made a quick spice rub with garlic and onion powder, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, pepper and  ground hot peppers

.

Nice start, are you planning on pulling it? Chuckies can take along time be patient.

So I pulled it out of the fridge this morning and let it start to warm up while I got the smoker going.

Oak was the choice today.  Tossed her in about noon  and wrapped around 155.  Finished right around 2040 this evening at 206 degrees. Came out pretty good for my first one.  Will have tacos tomorrow for dinner i think.
