I am fine tuning my vertical reverse flow. I have a 1" ball valve in the firebox door but I think I'm not getting enough flow. Was pondering putting another vent on the bottom of the firebox similar to the top vent of a Weber kettle. Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject... The firebox is 10hx16wx16d. The cc is 30hx16wx16d. The chimney is 1"x8" and comes up the back wall. I have (8) 3/4" holes in the bottom of the cc for the chimney entrance. The smoke raceways are 1" x16" slots at the top of the cc. I'm having issues getting up to smoking temps. Any input would be very appreciated. Thanks
