Found this site while searching for recipes for my new vertical smoker. I'm originally from Texas so I take great pride in the outdoor sport of grilling and smoking. I currently have a Charbroil 4 burner stainless grill, A homemade vertical drum smoker that I built myself with plans from an old popular mechanics mag and a brand new Dyna-glo DGB1890 side burner wide body vertical smoker that I itching to try out. Iv'e been smoking and grilling for over 30 years and have cooked for as many as 150 people at a time, mostly on rented units. My retirement dream is to get a gator pit on wheels and take up event catering but that's still a couple of years away. Glad I found this forum and am looking forward to sharing tips and trials with ya'll

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a beautiful chilly and sunny day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web.         Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
