Love to fish. Never been salmon fishing though.
Depending on where you are at, the springer run is just getting started on the Columbia, then throughout the state rivers will open and close all over thru summer and into winter. I am in king county, if you are nearby and want to check out some rivers let me know,I have only been salmon fishing for a couple of years and still learning. But fresh caught smoked salmon is awesome.
