Did a 12lb packer this weekend. Put it on at 1am Sunday morning and pulled it at 3pm. Smoked with Cooking Pellets 100% hickory pellets. Injected with Butchers BBQ prime brisket injection mixed with beef broth then rubbed with 5050 kosher salt and CBP. flavor was great but I dried her out. next one will be better.

My 640 is coming in this weekend, and I was thinking of trying a brisket this weekend...

What temp did you cook at?
 
I did 225 till I wrapped it at 160 then bump it up to 290 to finish it up
