hey all, so thought i'd say hi and introduce myself .. haven't actually been a follower of this site before today, never knew there was such a subculture of meat smoking lovers out there... to be honest, didn't know the hobby existed!
Bit about me, 35 y/o with a young family.. work too much, and love a beer and a barbeque.

Im on a raw food diet for 2 weeks (DONT ASK ME WHY BECAUSE I DONT KNOW WHY I AM DOING THIS TO MYSELF!!!), which is absolutely killing me, and all i can think of is sinking into some bbq meat and having a cold beer .. hence how i stumbled across this site..

I've got an old fire suppression cylinder off a dozer, about 25gallon i'd say, and am going to make this into a smoker - have posted up the design in the forum and hoping for some advice... its a bit different to what i've seen done on this page after research.

Fitter/Mechanic by trade, better grinder than i am welder, but the welds hold! .. looking forward to building this smoker/grill, and getting some amazing smoked meat (brisket will be the first thing i try) happening over this summer

Anyways, gday everyone, happy smokin'
