Hi guys not sure what section to ask about gravity feed smoker but I started to build a stump clone and was wondering were the best place to buy insulation is? I found some from zoro and mcmaster car. Just wanting to save my money. Thanks

Hey. I used kaowool. Its a roll 2' wide 1" thick 25' long. Not the cheapest but its simple to handle cuts easy with a box cutter. And is rated to 2500 degrees....just in case. Ha ha. I got it online shipped from alibaba or something like that. Good luck.
 
Yes , the home safe and quite roxul from homedepot or lowes. U got a whole lot for 45$ or so. More then u will need trust me. I seen a YouTube advertisement on it. It's good to about 1700 degrees. Plenty good. It's what I'm using in my smoker and a small stainless cooler lunch box build I'm doing
