my kids got me a smoker for xmas. never used one before. so im really looking forward to trying it out. i have a masterbuilt pro dual fuel smoker model # 20050412. ive read up on modifications for this but so far only bought the 10 inch cast pan for it. i did fire it up with chips to season it. seem i was losing a good bit of smoke around upper door so i will install casket. i do have a good friend that has been smoking for about five yrs now that has tried to teach me what he has learned. i have already learned alot from here and other research ive done. im from south central pa and looking forward to learning the art of smoking. thank you all for the chance to learn from you all.

Welcome from SC. It's really good to have you here on this great site. I don't know anything about your smoker, but there are a lot of folks on here that can be of assistance.

Good luck and good smoking, Joe. :grilling_smilie:
