Finally getting around to opening the box on this stuffer.

New Age Stuffer 7lbs

My thoughts.

Pretty basic. All SS canister. Rod looks to be plated steel. Top and bottom base are aluminum.

Pusher is SS with a food grade covering. Rod and pusher swivel to the side.

Tubes are plastic bayonet type fitting. Prob not the best but we will see. I got 2 sets of tubes.

Take down is easy for cleaning.

So here is my pre stuffing thoughts.

1. Decent for the $68 i spent on it.

2. You will need a table to clamp it to. Not RV friendly for the counter top.

3. I'm glad i am ambidextrous because the crank is on the other side. I can have the crank facing me and use my left to crank.

4. Good for a backup stuffer. Not my go to for every time.

I will post stuffing pics later when i make some sausage and my post thoughts on it.

What would you say is going to be the smallest diameter casing you'll be able to use with the stock tubes?  

Also, looks like making steel tubes would be a PITA for this one.

smallest is 1/2

maybe thats why they gave me 2 sets (not that great?) 

steel tubes you think would have to be aluminum? and a casting of one of the plastic?

Just thinking, i not a fabricator or plumber or electrician or wood maker or auto fixer dood.

smallest is 1/2

Rick the 1/2" is the smallest end of that tube,inside Dia. I have to find my gauge to get better measurements

Oh Damn

I been using the wrong end of the tube all these years. No wonder the sheep casings dont fit.

Hi had a very similar unit to that I bought in the UK. I found that the seal on the piston is not very good, especially when using the smaller diameter tubes.
