Hey all:

Thought I would join you guys to see what I could learn from you and share. Wife bought me my first smoker, a Weber Smoky Mountain 18" for my birthday last year. I began using it in November, have smoked pork and beef ribs, two turkeys and did a small brisket for Christmas dinner. So far, all of my results have been good and people seemed to enjoy the meat.

I live in Southern California and have always liked to cook, but I can now see that smoking meats is a deep rabbit hole, there is so much to learn. So far, I am really enjoying this new passion.

See you in the forums!

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a cloudy and chilly day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of          great people with tons of information on just about everything.
