Fairly new to smoking, and new to any forum just bought a mb sportsman elite digital.Used to smoke with round, red electric smoker (sorry don't remember brand or model). After some consideration and research decided to stay with electric due to ease of use.
Recently read about using nonstick cooking spray on smoking racks- is this a good idea?
Also is smoking meat when frozen a good idea?
Any thoughts and pointers appreciated.

Welcome to SMF!

I always use Pam spray on the racks, it makes cleanup easier.

I wouldn't smoke meat that was frozen, the outside will dry out before the center gets done.

I put my meat in the smoker right out of the fridge.

I usually spray mine as well, Always when I do jerky. And Always thaw meat first, otherwise you will end up with dried out crust on outside and raw middle. makes for a bad meal..lol
