Started it at 11:00am this morning. Just pulled it off the smoker. at few minutes till 9pm. Boy does it smell wonderful, pulled it at 205 degees. Going to let it sit for an hour then try and pull it, see what we got. Dang might need to make up a sandwich here soon, smell is getting to me lol. I will get some pictures of it after I have it pulled.
Wow smells good

sorry about the photos. I looked and looked for icon to upload the pictures but could not find it. I used your link SmokinAl and thanks for posting that for me.

Going to have sammies tonight. Can't hardly wait. I even bought some cabbage and we're not big cabbage eaters. Got the Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce ready to splash on it too. Tater salad and some chips ought to just round it out fine.

Looks great! I'm not smart enough to link anything but try searching for finishing sauces they can add extra flavor and moisture to your PP they are basically a very thin BBQ sauce.

Most of the time I don't really baste or brush anything on my pulled pork (purely personal preference, no science), but I've seen a lot of people in my neck of the woods (WV) have a pan with some ratio of tomato sauce and cider vinegar right on their grill as they brush it on every here and there. By the time the pork is done, it's thickened up to the consistency of BBQ sauce. In general I love making my own BBQ sauces as much as I love the BBQ itself. There's no shortage of things to try, even though I have a couple favorites..
