I was just following up on a post where a guy said his son wrote down the formula for him to figure out the amount of fat needed at a given percentage of fat to meat in sausage. I thought I would automate the process in a spreadsheet. You can type in the number of pounds of meat you have and then type in the percentage of fat you would like in the sausage. The amout of fat you need is displayed in pounds, ounces and grams. Give it a try and tell me what you think.
