I'm in the market for another 2 lb bag of Tender quick . The bag I bought 20 years ago is getting low . I use it more now than I ever have , (thx to Bear Carver ,, really , I mean thanks ) So anyway after searching online buy sites , I found a add thru Walmart for 2lb bags 12 count for $34.02 . I'm thinking that's a good price , but I don't need 12 bags . Then I see its a 2nd party vender ( thru Walmart ) with a low rating . Well you would have to be stupid to trust these people . Guess who's stupid ?

Bear if it shows up , I'm gonna send you a couple of bags if you want 'em .

It’s hard to believe that some grocery there doesn’t carry it. Here it’s on the bottom shelf with the rest of the salts, at least at Meier and Kroger.
Oh Well, I guess for $34 you’ll have enough to last the rest of your life!

You see the line in the original post about stupid ? I received one bag . 34 bucks for a bag of TQ . After several e mails Walmart sent me my money back . So i have a bag that cost me alot of grief but no money . What a pain in the neck .

Man, that sux. At least you got a bag and money back. I have a near full bag that has to be 10+ yrs old. I'm just trying to confirm a supply line as this place could spell the end of that bag. Gonna have to start checking sources other than the big 3 grocery chains in town. Farm supply stores might be the ticket.

Yeah . Dierbergs used to sell it . Just don't see it anymore . You're right , the bag I had 20 years went fast after I joined here . If I find a place I'll let you know .

Like that calculator ... and a point for you... I was going to order some ...put in my zip code and 2 miles away at publix

You have to be really lucky for their "Finder" to work.
Most of the places they have on their list don't have TQ, and the places that do have TQ aren't on their list.

The stores Mrs Bear shops don't have it, but when I need some, Bear Jr gets it for me at his "Wegmans".
I think it's only about $5-$6 for a 2 pound bag.
