I've got a Famili OT008 oven thermometer with meat probe and a Maveric meat probe. Smoking on a pit boss k22 kamado. Kamado thermometer reads 210 degrees the Famili oven temp reads 251 degrees. Famili meat temp currently shows 159 degrees and the Maverik 154 degrees in the same pork butt. should I worry about the differences? How do I correct for them? Any advice is appreciated.

One note. The Famili is new. Measured boiling water reading was 212 drgrees. Glass of ice water 34. Should I ignore the others? Thanks.

I'd check both therms side by side, but if I had to make a decision on the one I trusted right now, I'd go with the one you tested in the boiling water and in the ice...

Cool. Sorta what I was thinking. Thanks for the feedback.
