Cash & Carry, our local restaurant supply has boneless ribeye on sale so I picked up a 19 pounder. I would have grabbed two, butt the freezer is overflowing with meat right now.

I broke this down into 4 roasts. The skinny end roast I cut into steaks. Which I have marinating in Henderson's Relish for dinner tonight.

I'm already drooling thinking about those roasts. One will be cooked in the DO salt crusted. One will be spun in the minitisserie. The third one I'm
Not sure yet. Maybe plain old smoked in the new 14.5" WSM!

WOW, That ribeye looks delicious!     I sure wish I could come across a deal on ribeye as it is my favorite cut of beef.

This is as cheap as it gets here. The Angus was $10.99/pound.

Might not be as cheap as Case got his, but big Holidays are usually the best Sale times.

I get most of my "Choice" Prime Rib during Christmas Week.

Thanksgiving week & Easter week can sometimes have good sales too.

$5.69 is a great sales price. I pick them up regularly for between $4.99 and $5.99 a pound on sale. I always have them but me a 4-6 pound roast out of it and then 1" ribeye steak the rest. I also get some damn good ribeyes from my farmer buddy who raises cattle.
