I finally registered here after buying a 24gallon propane tank with plans to build a reverse flow smoker. Currently, I am using a WSM 18" I got as a hand-me-down from my dad. This was the model with plastic handle on the lid but no temperature gauge in the lid. I usually smoke chicken, ribs and or pork butt/ shoulder. ABT's every once in a while and if I have patience, lollipop chicken legs.

I'm a welder by trade and plan to comb through these forums to find all the info I need to make a properly functioning RF Smoker. I've already plugged numbers into the Feldon's calculator and didn't realize there was so much precision needed to insure proper airflow. My next cook I am researching is a 12lb Packard Brisket. It will be my first and I want to have all my research done so I don't mess it up. Also might try to make burnt ends as well. Look forward to chatting with you all. 831 Area code here.
