Looking real good. You will be able to smoke a few racks of ribs in that one.

Holy cow!

That thing is a beast!

Your gonna need a forest to feed it!

I can't wait to see the finished product!

Well I fired her up to about 350-400 for 5 hours this morning then brought her down to 275 and currently have a pork butt on her. All I can say is I can't believe how well this thing runs! I am constantly at a 25 degree difference between front and back, which maybe could be improved by closing off the stack a little with the damper but for now she's drafting well and cooking good! So excited. Still some little details to button up but so glad to have her done.

When I was keeping it up around 350-400 that was a raging bon fire so I was putting in a couple pieces every 5-10 minutes. lol Now I seem to be putting in a couple pieces every 20-30 minutes. But my foundation is set with the bed of coals and that's my driving force, I'm just keeping it fed.

Holy bird crap batman. Thats probably the most impressive thing ive seen in a while. Kudos to you lol

yessir, mine eats a lot of wood too ...and drinks a lot of beer! but man i love using it. we did a turkey a for a friend at Christmas, 14-16lb bird looked like a single dove a normal sized grill. it turned out great though! good job on this bad boy.

I am always impressed with people's abilities to create the types of smokers that they do, but this thing takes the cake. Please keep posting about this and does this smoker have a name? I generally am not one to name things, but again, this is a whole other level. I enjoyed reading this entire thread and the size if this thing is incredible!

When you gonna give that thing a paint job? I'm thinking some flames on the sides would be sweet! Hehe. I still can't believe you built this thing as big as it is. This is a smoker made for a king.
