If all the smokers I have, my mini-WSM's and the 14.5" gets used the most. The 18 gets used every couple of months. My UDS (used for size comparison tho the 22") I haven't used in over a year. Typically I am cooking for 2-4, but I have cooked for 10-15 using the mini-WSM's.

The 18 is nice for fitting full rack and smaller packer briskets. I rarely even do brisket as we prefer tri tip. Which I can fit 2-4 on the mini.

Can't beat the fuel efficiency of the smaller WSM's.

Guess it comes down to what you want the smoker to do. The 14" would be easy to pack up and take on your road trips.

Thank you Nepas! Was going to make some Bratwurst today for my grand finale cook, but the wife called and is coming home early!

Now I have to clean the house!

Yup thats what i was thinking, the small WSM being its just me and the wife. A small butt, some chicken and a brisky flat is bout enuff for us. Not seen many tri tips down here.

Great looking meal!   Ditto everyone above, that corn looks killer!

Love Secret Aardvark's habenero sauce, but their jerk sauce looks great too-- will have to try that sometime!

Thank you! The corn is tasty! The Drunken Jerk is good. I've had it on eggs before for breakfast, but I hadn't used it as a marinade on meat yet.

The Mini WSM has been my go to smoker for over 5 years now. Honestly I didn't need to buy the 14", but that darn end of summer close out Walmart price sucked me in!

I like the fact that I can use the mini or the 14 as a grill too. Makes reverse sear an easily accomplished cook using one unit. Also means I don't have to pack another grill when camping. Which is why I take the mini-Za camping the most. I can grill on it, smoke in it, or make pizza. It's probably the most versatile of all my smokers.

Looks so good, Case. Particularly the corn!

Points for giving me something else to try!
