Wedding butts!

I started with Bilbos and have modified it a little bit every time I smoke.

My secret ingredient though is Dorthy Lynch Dressing. I slather the butts first with this and then add the seasoning. Giving the pork an added layer of taste. Excellent!
 
I will definitely have to try your method. I usally make my own...salt sugar paprika and chili powder. Its great but you can get tired of the same flavor profile after awhile
 
I totally understand. Right now I don't want to see or smell pork butts for a while.

Thanksgiving turkeys and chickens are next in line.
 
I just looked up Billbos rub and it is exactly the same as the one I already use.the only difference is I add a couple packets of true lime granules to my rub to give it that bright finish. Thats too funny. I guess great minds think alike.
 
Sure looks good to me.

I do about the same thing with the rubs.

I use Jeff's rub to for my starting point, 

then a little tinkering stops the getting tired of it.
