I'm happy to join your community and hope to learn what I need to know to successfully smoke.  I come to you from central Pennsylvania where I have a pretty good supply of venison from year to year and I hope to make it taste even better than it already does.  A friend at work said he recently bought an electric smoke and said it was one of the best things he ever did.  I am somewhat grill challenged with the quality of the outcome so I want to learn how to do this right (or the best I can) from the start.  Initially, I need to decide which smoker to consider purchasing and then how to use it.  If that friend of mine can pull it off, I'm fairly certain I have a chance!  Looking forward to the experience!

Welcome aboard!

Plenty of friendly folks on here to help you get started with your new hobby!
