Will it do ham 'n beans?
I goofed about the chuck sale at Kroger. It's at Meijer. I thought there are Meijer stores in Michigan, b-one?

Its a great Fix!
Woke up to ice on the windshield of the car today.. This looks like a good fix for that! Yum!
Yeah the only thing that can fix that is Costa Rica!. Not sure if this can be fixed. We got a foot of snow over the last 2 days. I see in the fliers that there is cap off prime rib on for $4.79 per lb. Im going to get some right away.
No, just no! Love my Texas weather!. Not sure if this can be fixed. We got a foot of snow over the last 2 days. I see in the fliers that there is cap off prime rib on for $4.79 per lb. Im going to get some right away.

Looks Mighty Tasty, Case!!!----
Nice Job!!
Those Prices are about the same as around here for Chuckies, which is why I make so much Prime Rib, Ribeyes, and Deerburgers!!!

Being that versatile makes lobbying a little easier, but before I drop that much coin for a pan I need to let her get over the wine cooler I got last week with visions of slow/dry curing :dunnoYou can cook anything in the can! As JJ mentioned above the can is a low pressure cooker. That said if you leave the heat on high you can risk blowing the top off. Once you start seeing steam come out the hole in the lid its time to turn the burner down to low.
A few years ago I did 3 chuck roasts in the can for a gathering of 20. Just this spring I made a full can batch of pork chili verde.
Here's a few of my cooks posted here. For some reason I haven't posted as many as I thought! We use the can pretty frequently.

Actually for some reason we've been having sales on Ground Beef lately. Both of our stores (Giant & Weis) have been selling 85/15 for $2.49.
Thanks Bear!
80/20 ground beef is $3.99/pound! Thankfully I have been grinding our own from the clod shoulder I buy bulk at $2.25. Can't afford (actually don't want to afford) to grind chuck anymore...
I wish I had that problem! Maybe one of these years I'll get a tag again!
in case we ever run out of Deerburger.

Trust me, I smoke year round!
SO...I STILL BE SMOKING!!!!
Thank you BD!

What a great piece of equipment, Case! I wish She Who Must Be Obeyed wasn't embargoing any more Q toys. Sigh. I'll just have to be jealous and see your great roast.

Thanks Disco! I highly recommend you get one of these. SWMBO will forgive you after the first meal you cook.
Har. Your theory may be sound, Case, if I survive to cook anything in it! And SM, you get that for her for Christmas and let me know how it goes. I hope I won't have to send flowers.I'm kind of in the same boat, Disco.
I've got an idea! Since it's not actually Q equipment, what if we gave it to THEM as a gift?
I can wait 'til Christmas....
