I got bored yesterday, and after a quick moment of chainsaw action, I had some Mulberry and Pecan ready to start with.

The wife brought out the Prime Rib and Ribs while I was mixing a Makers Mark whiskey sour and lighting a Rocky Patel cigar so I forgot to take pictures of the before...

Mulberry before I finish cutting it up.

Prime Rib and Ribs foiled 3 hours in...

Prime Ribs cooked to 125 IT (i.e. perfection) and served with Au Ju made from  the beef drippings and secrets the Missus will never release.

Pork Ribs cooked to perfection and glazed with Sweet Baby Rays per the Missus's request...

All in all it turned out to be a good way to spend the afternoon with the family...

Enjoy the food pictures...

Very. The Prime Rib weighted in around 10 lbs, so I ended up cutting it up into 1/3's after it cooled and we ate. Now a 1/3 is frozen for later, a 1/3 was thinly sliced on the meat slicer to make French Dips later, and the last 1/3 was cut thicker on the meat slicer to make "steak" and eggs in the morning. Ribs will be lunch at work...

LOL. I agree. Plus here in Mo I have archery season for deer and turkey, Shotgun season for turkey, Rifle season for deer, Muzzleloader season for deer, and rabbit/squirrel season that started the 15th of Sep and runs till mid Feb so I also needed room in the deep freezer. Because that is roughly 4-6 tags for deer and 2-4 tags for turkey, plus whatever rabbits and squirrels that me and the oldest boy scare up with the trusty old single shot .410. I feed a family of six (3 are growing boys) and a father that always pays for one deer's butcher bill, so winter is always busy for me...
