That turned out great! We have a Frigidaire by GM and a GM refrigerator at our cabin. Still chugging along keeping the the food and booze cold.

Sorry about the duplicate info, forgot I already posted it last year. My bad.
Thanks for the info. Mine is still a slow work in progress. Having a 18 month old son doesn't allow for much time in the garage and we're expecting another in Feburary. Hopefully by next summer I can get this thing wrapped up! In the mean time, I've got 4 other smokers that work just fine!

I already hammered the lips on the door flat so I'll just end up using a flat piece of sheet metal. My latch was getting loose, so I just removed it and will use 2 toggle latches on the outside. Looks like my biggest hassle replacing the 4 metal strips that attached the tub to the edges of the frame. I kept the plastic ones so hopefully I can just cut the same shape and use the existing holes for mock up. I'll post more pics when I have made progress.

That's what I did. I had the stainless cut to the same width as the plastic then used them to mark the holes to drill. I used SS nuts and bolts to attach them to the tub then slightly larger sheet metal screws to attach the tub to the outer shell. Hang in there it will happen. Good things come to those who wait.
