Good Morning All!
I'm James from Western Washington. Still very new to smoking up my own BBQ. I purchased my new RecTec RT-680 about 2 months ago now. So far I've had amazing success with it and only a couple of so-so results.
To date I've done the obligatory bacon for initial cook, 2 full packer briskets, 6 racks of spare ribs, 4 pork butts, 2 meat loafs, 2 turkey breasts, 1 tri-tip, several pizzas, a carver ham, burgers, brats, veggies, chicken, BBQ beans (Malcolm Reed recipe), salmon fillets, apple crisp and mac&cheese.
After some initial ribbing (no pun intended) from a good friend of mine over my purchase of a smoker, he now owns a GMG. He and I also do some homebrewing cause hey....what goes better with BBQ?
Look forward to learning what I can and eventually passing along what I've learned!
