So after I bought my new Oklahoma Joe smoker I decided to build a kart for it and may have gotten a bit carried away...

A few clean up items, then it's dismantle and off to powder coat. While the kart is off getting some color, I'm gonna re-engineer my old smoker up front to be a dedicated grill. More pics to follow on that...

That's a great job!

You should have just built the smoker too!

Fantastic. Have wanted to learn how to weld. What welder would you recommend for a beginner? That is the only tool I do not have in the shop.

I have a Lincoln 175+ MiG machine, my first bought about ten years ago. I love it, very forgiving. Was around $750 when I purchased it. Have recently thought about upgrading to one of the new mutli process machines tho, stick/mig/tig all in one package. Miller makes great stuff too.

Thanks. my few attempts at welding the traditional way some years ago on the construction job was not productive to say the least. I understand the MIG welders are easier to learn.
