Trying a forum for the first time hoping to receive some good advice. I just received a Brinkman smoker and grill from my Wife's parents. It is a bullet type smoker. I am going to try smoking pork shoulder for pulled Pork this weekend as my first attempt. I am using Kingsford Hickory charcoal and have some Hickory chips also. Just wondering if anyone has advice on whether or not I should actually use the chips?
