Saw these on sale at Walmart and had to give it a shot. I don't think I have ever had beef ribs to begin with so I was excited to smoke them up.
Trimmed them up and seasoned with Jack Daniels Beef rub and wrapped them up in the fridge for 5 hours.
Got the smoker ready with a mix of Cherry and Jack Daniels wood chips. Spritzed down with apple juice and a splash of Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire and into the smoker at 225.
While those were smoking I boiled up some eggs and out them on my new Char-Broil grill to cold smoke with Mesquite wood chips in the char broil tube.
They turned out to be amazing deviled eggs.
Spritzed the ribs down on the hour to keep them moist.
After 5 1/2 hours they were ready to be pulled. Wrapped them in foil while I finished up the scalloped potatoes and green beans.
Not much meat but they were really good!
