Hey everyone I'm a 40 year old southern male who has worried himself over making the best damn BBQ in my area, for myself and family, for over 20 years now.
Started out in my late teens with an old school kettle smoker that required babysitting with another grill going to keep it fed, moved up to a firebox on the side unit (Charbroil I think it was) until the bottom(s) fell out. I've owned a trailer smoker my wife and I used for competitions (most we ever won was a stainless grilling utensil set in a padded case, but not the point is it?).. I've built 3 catering sized trailer smokers (two were for church functions (private owners), one for a local BBQ place).
I then downsized back to a back porch sized indirect smoker, and am finally jumping into getting an electric one, which I did just today, and figured I'd post about it here because excitement.
