Like my local meat market where I can get what they call a cowboy steak it is between 2 1/2 to 3" thick T-Bone

Great meal Case. Your booster is a nice homemade version and I'm guessing it should work just as well as a vortes.

I always leave some meat on the bone for my old hound Roxy too.

Thank you Gary! Yeah the booster works great in the mini. Gotta take care of the pooches!

Incidentally... About the Henderson's Relish.... I had ordered it on Amazon, and everything arrived in a short order and was bubble wrapped and packaged very well. However, one thing that concerned me was that they did not have any kind of tamper seal of any kind on the cap. I contacted and reported this to Amazon and asked if this was normal. Their response was to refund my money and that they have forwarded this issue to the appropriate team in their company to resolve the issue. Furthermore they are waiving the shipping fee (fastest possible) on a new order.

I just love this kind of customer service from Amazon and why I continue to shop with them. Anyway... Just a heads up. Did anyone else get their Henderson's without a tamper seal?

Honestly I haven't paid attention. Not sure that any of mine has had a tamperproof seal. I believe that I have an un opened bottle and can look at it later today.

A big ol T-bone, a baked tater and corn on the cob. The classic American male meal, IMO.

And good on ya for saving the bone for that old dog.

I've done something similar in my kamodo when cooking for just myself. I simply light a small chimney of charcoal and sit it inside the grill and cook over it. A concentrated fire over a smaller area. Sears a single rib-eye quite well without using much charcoal.
