Rubbed up a nice 7.5lb butt with SPOGP on Friday night.

Popped it in the MES last night about 8pm, had some hellacious thunder storms, but made it through without the power going out.

Used the AMAZNPS with apple, went for about ~16hrs to an internal temperature of 202F.

The Mrs. and I had some beans and watermelon but didn't take pics of those. The butt steals the show.

Really turned out great with lots of bark!







 
 
Looks awesome!  What sort of sauce(s) do you use?
I use my own sauce recipe, in fact I am running out and need to make more.

That looks great!  I'm surprised it took ~16 hours, did you keep the temp around the 231F your Auber is showing?
Yes, the Auber really works great, kept it at 225F-230F the whole time.

I really like allot of heavy bark.
