Okay... I had a change of what water sealer I am going to use. I found Agralife Timber Seal and it looks really good... non-toxic and even food safe. Excellent looking product with great reviews.

I like the low pitch roof! Nicely done!

The smoke house is almost finished. Just need to finish up the inside racks and build the outside wood rack. It's roofed and exterior sealed. I burnt one fire in the firebox and the inside reached perfect smoking temp's without any problems.

I think I am going to put two of the vents in... one on the front and one on the back.

I figure with two... I should be able to adjust the airflow a little better with them being adjustable.

Did you decide to go with a chimney instead of the vents?

Howz she workin' for ya'??

I have no idea how I missed this, but that is a nice looking build! Nice work and I can't wait to see some cooks! Thumbs Up

:points:

I had to do a double take on you for a second there. I have an relative nicknamed Big Dean who turns out to look a lot like you. Then I seen you are from OK.

So far so good, I have a friend who is a big chimney fan and he talked me into giving it a try.

I did build it with vents in mind, so it will be an easy change if I go that way later.

Wow this is pretty cool! Curious to see how meat turns out.

What did this cost you to build?
