Last 3 pics. I have to admit, that bird was alot more juicy than when I inject it! Yummy taste too!

Ok, now I am gonna go take a nap!

Wow. Now thats awesome. Great cook. Beautiful bird. POINTS

Wow!

If that was all the equipment I had to use, there's no way on earth I'd try to smoke a whole turkey.

That is probably the most "hobo", and I do not mean to be derogatory at all, of a smoke I have ever seen..

I doubt if 2/3 of the members here could pull that off!

Awesome job. You definitely have a great understanding of fire / temp control!

Looking good PitBulMom!  I am often not hungry after a long smoke, the heat and the stress take over.  I'm often cranky and super critical from not eating.  I'm a better food critic the next day.  Nice smoke!

Very Impressive! Minimalist by necessity and looks like it was cooked in a $5K Rig! Another point...JJ

Impressive rig, impressive bird, impressive dish!!

Just goes to show you don't need an expensive unit to pump out some good smoked meals. It's all technique.

Points coming when my quota is back. Damn there's been a lot of good stuff today!!

Good looking Turkey! Giving you points for cooking that bird on the equipment you had, you did not rush out a buy a big rig, just used what you had. That would be a challenge to cook that bird on that grill for all! Points!!!

Thanks Guys! SQWIB, he knows if he were to get rid of me...he wouldn't eat as good as he does now. He has been bragging what a good cook I am. I really apreciate all the comments and points, but you guys helped by putting all the great posts with instructions and Tips!

This bird is smaller than what we usually do. It was only 16lbs, usually hubby tries to find an 18 to 19 lbs. That is the biggest I can fit in that little grill.

The first Thanksgiving that we stayed in that Motel, I managed to feed all 22 people staying there with a lot of help from 4 other gals who contrubuted most of the side dishes. For as bad as our situayion was at the time, we had a good Thanksgiving and managed to feed some people who would not have had a Thanksgiving that year.

Love you guys, and please know that I apreciate all of you! I have so much fun with all the fiends I have made on the Forum!

That's wonderful looking turkey. Proves that it's not the pit that matters, but the pitmaster. Harry Soo says something like, "When you barbecue you send a boomerang of love into the universe and that love comes back to you."

Now why would we laugh at that?

You used what ya had, and used it well. Bird looks cooked to perfection. :grilling_smilie:

Oh ya... much deserved :points:

Now that is impressive I seen this the other day and book marked it.Just got back to it That is Perfect Points heading at ya
