Family Reunion Cooking

Thread Starter

My Mom asked me to cook for a family reunion of sorts. We are going to have about 45 people and she wanted pulled pork and chicken (to go along with TONS of other food she was making). So, I did two 10 lb butts and two nice chickens (beer can style). Everything went great and prepping to eat in a few hours!

Prepping the meat!

A couple hours in.

Chickens added.

A while later.

Pork being pulled.

Chicken and Pork all pulled.

My 13 year old daughter made cupcakes from scratch for the event!

Port was done with a mix of Mojo and traditional pork rub seasonings. Chickens were done with a lots of garlic, pepper, some pork rub and miller lite ;)

Nice job on feeding 45 people!

Both the chicken & pork look great!

But I'll have a cupcake please!

Points!

Looks really good. I'm sure the guest enjoyed it. Give that girl a high five on those cup cakes. Everything looks great.

Great PP and chicken--really looks good.

Real nice of the young lady to spend the time to make cupcakes.

Thanks guys. We had an awesome afternoon and there's barely a scrap left after grazing on it all day. Looking forward to the next cook now!

Yes, it's in the pic to the left of the pork. It was a BIG hit!
