Jerky Marinade Recommendations?

I have a london broil I am going to make into jerky over the weekend. Any recommendations on a good marinade recipe? Most recipes I've found seem to be in a teriyaki style, but I'm not big on teriyaki style jerky. Just want something basic.

This is as simple as it gets. Has great flavor. I can't make enough of it. Goes so fast I have to hide it from my kids, neighbors, and co workers!

yeahthat.gif I've made this a number of times and it is the only one I use. I do add black pepper and garlic to taste but it's excellent as is also!!

Thank you. I ended up using the Alton Brown marinade recipe, but I will try these soon.
